Alanya Dwarfs Cave
Cüceler Cave, which was opened to tourism in 2012, is 37 km from Alanya district center of Antalya. It is located on the Sapadere Canyon road, within the borders of Demirtaş district. There are various rumors about the name of the cave. According to the narrative, a dwarf who lived with his family in Tırılar Village in the 1900s and was subjected to violence by them, left his home and took shelter in a cave. A shepherd who knows that he is in the cave informs the family. His family also comes and takes the dwarf from the cave. After that incident, the name of the cave remained 'Dwarfs Cave'. The cave, which is considered a natural wonder with its dripstone formations, contains stalactites, stalagmites and columns of various shapes, which are thought to have formed between 10 and 15 thousand years ago.
